FAQ about our Weight Loss Program
How do I get more information about your weight loss and wellness programs?
Contact us today for your initial FREE consultation. We recommended you allow 30-45 minutes to review and discuss what your goals are and how we help you achieve them.
What does a consultation appointment entail?
We would review what our program options are and what a typical coaching session would consists of. It allows both parties to ask questions to ensure that the program is a right fit for you but also that we are able to accommodate all of your needs.
What is a typical program?
Our philosophy is about setting you up for success long term. EVOLVE revolves our coaching sessions around our 5 main pillars for success:
1. Nutrition
2. Exercise and Activity
3. Sleep patterns
4. Managing stress
5. Goal setting
What makes your programs different from others?
In most cases, any nutritional and activity program can be effective for weight loss, but they may not necessarily be the healthiest method. At EVOLVE, the importance of health and wellness is just as important as the weight loss success. When setting up the right program for you, we consider many factors. Family, schedules, dietary restrictions, mobility limitations are just some of the concerns that we review before deciding which program to choose. We meet one-on-one weekly to discuss program details and changes.
Do I Need a doctor’s referral?
No, it is not necessary.
Do I have to buy any special supplements or products?
You are not required to take any supplements. We do suggest some supplements that may benefit your health along with your weight loss.
It is not mandatory. Our programs do not expect supplementation, as our belief is to utilize food to help heal and promote wellness.
Note: If you happen to be deficient in nutrients and your doctor suggests that you take it, please follow their directions.
Will the program work for me, even if normal diets didn’t in the past?
The program was developed as a lifestyle program and not a diet. We are looking at developing a lifestyle and is not a quick fix diet to lose weight. With any lifestyle change, the program will work if the commitment to follow through is there.
What kind of weight or health level should I be at to benefit from your programs?
We have had everyone from those who have had diabetes to triathletes go through our programs. Though everyone has their reasons to lose weight, it is open to all individuals who want to learn to sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Are your programs suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Our program has meals that can work with vegetarians. The vegetarian program can be adjusted to be vegan with some minor tweaks.
If you are vegan and want to go through the program and still have questions, please use our contact form to contact us with any questions.
I’m allergic to certain types of food. Can your programs help me?
We have coached people with allergies. We can find alternatives to make sure the program is successful for you. Please contact us to let us know what types of foods you are allergic to and we can see if we can adjust some of the meals.
Is your program Keto friendly?
Our program is NOT keto friendly. The Keto program is a very effective program. Although it is an effective program, our belief is to create a long-term sustainable program you/your family can follow.
Will I need to exercise while on your program?
Though you are not required to exercise, my 20+ years of experience shows that those who include some type of exercise can shed unwanted weight faster. Furthermore, those who incorporate some exercise into their lifestyle have a higher chance of maintaining their goal weight once it is achieved. We might also suggest adding some type activity such as walking to your daily routine.
Will the your program get rid of diseases?
We have worked with clients with cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, as well as other ailments.
We cannot guarantee eliminating a disease, though we have helped thousands lower their numbers and come off their medications with the advice of their doctor. You will have to work with your doctor to determine what changes need to be made with your medication regiment as you go through the program.
Note: With clients that are diabetic taking medications it is recommended you see your doctor before you start and 2-3 weeks in to monitor your blood sugar levels.
Do I need to buy any special foods or packaged foods? Speciality foods?
Our programs are based on store bought groceries and the base of our program uses lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and most of the ingredients can be already found in your fridge and pantry.
Do I have to give up my coffee?
No. Though our program will provide you with different options and alternatives if you want to supercharge your results.
